Product Design Engineering
Our designers can realise your project from an idea through to production. The process starts by transferring an Industrial Design concept into a working prototype. From here engineers can develop the components and assemblies ready for production manufacture.
DFM & DFMA Reviews
The product design engineering team can support your in-house team by reviewing CAD components and assemblies prior to prototyping or volume manufacture.
Areas of concern will be indicated and documented.
FDM Modelmaking
We are equipped with 3D Printers to generate sketch models for early validation. This could be for quick size and form analysis or for initial PCB and hardware fitting.
Proof of Concept (POC) Validation
Generating a prototype is vital in the development process. Checking fit, function and aesthetics is key prior to more costly investment in the project and capital expenditure. Our engineers support in the initial POC build to document areas of improvement.
Low Volume & Pre-Production Assembly
We can undertake small assembly runs and one-off builds for clients prior to full production. The process helps to transfer design knowledge to the client or production teams.
Informal Testing
Prior to volume manufacture, or product release, it is beneficial for the product to undergo testing. Our engineers support clients with various categories of informal testing. We are able to assess and provide reports on Ingress Protection, impact resistance and drop testing.
Component & Assembly Drawings
To document and control the output of components and assemblies, our design engineers can provide fully dimensioned and detailed drawings.
PCB Outlines & Critical Component Placement
Bespoke enclosures often require new PCB layouts. Our design engineers can provide external electronics teams with printed circuit board real estate and critical component positioning. Working closely with the hardware professionals we can speed up the accuracy and reduce the development cycle.
Tool Trials and Production Support
